This is dedicated to the one I love...

This is for the other man in my life (no, not Gavin :) ).  Lou.  My rock.  My soulmate. The best father in the world.

I first created this blog to keep everyone up to date on Ty's medical progress, but it very quickly became an outlet for me to share my thoughts and details about my day-to-day life since it has been turned around upside-down.  It has become a running joke in my household because Lou feels like the blog barely sheds light on how involved Ty's Daddy is every step of the way.  In fact, I often tease Lou and call the blog the "cancer mom chronicles."  Lou certainly deserves more credit than I give him, and I am glad he has such a great sense of humor about it.  I am certainly not going through this alone.

All kidding aside, I couldn't imagine going through this with any other man on earth.  He couldn't be more supportive to me or to Ty.  He is an amazing father and husband, and I'm sorry that I don't use "we" often enough during my daily ramblings.  Lou, I love you more than ever.  Thank you for being you.

  4. Funny but even though you may not write as we, somehow I have always read it as such. By following you daily I have come to read into your posts and it has always come across to me in your unwritten tone, that Lou is very much a part of you. My husband also is my rock and those who know me, know that although I come across as a very strong woman, I could never be this strong without him beside me. So you tell Lou that your posts portray a very strong couple and a very strong family. (I don't always post, but I do religiously read and pray for all of you) Love, prayers, and hugs from NC.

  7. You are both amazing people and an inspiration to me and so many others. Ty is so lucky to have you as his parents. You are going through such a horrific ordeal yet you still find the good in things. I lit a candle for Ty in Sacred Couer Cathedral in Paris last week while travelling with my family. I think of Ty every day and pray that he will continue to stay strong.

  8. Lou has never been forgotten!! :) As Annie said above, even though you may say "I" I always visualize Lou right there w/ you! :) You are lucky to have someone like him to help you through and who knows exactly how you feel and what you are going through. Y'all both seem like amazing parents.

  9. Aww that's sweet Cindy! I think most of us know that it is the woman who have the 'gift to gab' as my grandfather explained it to me at ten years old. As everyone already perfectly said, I too always envisioned all four of you as Team Ty/Campbells. I actually had a conversation with Eric discussing what an amazing father Lou is. Not many men are capable of multitasking the way he has. Lou you are truly amazing!! You are all a strong, supportive, loving and admirable family!!

You are ALL in our prayers and hearts!!
